Where Are They Now?

Having gone on ahead of us

You say "I am young now and have more time than I can use." Take pause and reflect. Rise when the rooster crows and do something useful with your life. The people are few who understand the tyranny of time. For you the time will come. You'll grow weary and then old and in the way. It'll be sunsetting time in your life and growing old is the greatest test of all. Comes the grave at all ages and soon in one you will lie. Like all before you'll be borne away on snowy white wings to join your ancestors. Wherever they are.

If you don't learn anything else from family history, learn the press of time and the importance of not wasting it.
