Ervin (Ruff) Morgan first married Lillie Coles in Rigby, Idaho 19 April 1922. Lillie was born in 1902 and died
in 1943. They had three children; Ervin Edward Morgan, 1922-1961, Verle Adrian Morgan 1927-1928, and Marlene Morgan Summers,
1932-2010. Ervin Edward Morgan died in Los Angeles and is buried in a military cemetery in San Diego, California. Baby Verle
Adrian Morgan is buried in the Ririe Shelton Cemetery so we know Ervin and Lillie were still in Idaho in 1928.
Ervin
Morgan was living in California in 1942 and, presumably, in 1943 when his first wife Lillie Coles Morgan died in Idaho falls,
Idaho. In the picture above are Ervin Morgan and a woman identified as his second wife Edith Ruffner by Ervin Morgan's nephew Ron Morgan. Picture
taken somewhere around 1934 to 1936. Edith was married previously to someone named McDonough. Ervin Morgan and Edith Ruffner
McDonough were married 4 May 1937 in Utah County, Utah.
It
appears that Ervin Morgan and Lillie Coles were separated or divorced before Irvin moved to California in the 1930's. Lillie
is buried in the Ririe Shelton Cemetery in Idaho.
