The William and Lovina Ross Morgan home in Neeley, Idaho

The picture above was taken in the early 1900's. Note the two boys sitting in a home made swing on the left side. William Morgan is standing front, left, wearing a black hat and black vest. Lovina Ross Morgan is standing on the porch.

This Morgan photograph was made into a post card by the Star Music House, American Falls, Idaho. On the back, in my mother's (Mary Morgan) handwriting is written: "Jan 10, 1919 age 57 years." On the front, also in my mother's handwriting, is written: "Wm. Morgan Age 57 in 1919." It is possible that this picture was purposely taken of William Thomas Morgan in front of the first wood house they built in American Falls. The first house they had in American Falls was a dugout, of course. And later they built the larger house shown at the top of this page.
